Honors for Rabbi Jacknis
The rabbi was recognized at his 60th birthday celebration at South Huntington Jewish Center.
South Huntington Jewish Center's Rabbi Ian S. Jacknis received an official proclamation from the Town of Huntington, commemorating his 60th Birthday and his contributions to the town at the synagogue.
On hand were Councilwoman Susan A. Berland, Councilman Mark Cuthbertson and Councilwoman Tracey A. Edwards.
“Rabbi Jacknis is a welcoming, responsive, insightful, compassionate leader and has brought out the best in the Huntington community. It was truly a wonderful event,” Berland said
