Credit Card Thief Sought in Huntington

Suffolk Police say surveillance photos show woman used stolen credit card at two Huntington pharmacies.

Suffolk County Police are seeking a woman who used a stolen credit card at two Huntington pharmacies last month.

Police say the credit card was taken from a woman’s vehicle Dec. 6 between 3:30-4 p.m. while she was inside the Bank of America at 300 Broadhollow Road in Melville. Eyeglasses and purse containing a wallet with credit cards were stolen.

One credit card from the wallet was used that same day at CVS and Rite Aid, both along Jericho Turnpike in Huntington.

Police Tuesday released surveillance photos of a slender woman with long, dark hair entering one of the pharmacies. She is wanted in connection with grand larceny.

Also on Dec. 6, police say a credit card stolen from a parishoner at St. Patrick’s Church was later used at two local stores. The thefts do not appear to be related.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
