Do you Communicate With Your Dog?

A professor wants to expand his study of dog cognition by adding data from thousands of owners.

If you go to any dog park around Huntington, you'll see dogs and their humans interacting.

A Duke University professor is expanding on his study of dog cognition, asking  owners to help him collect data on how they interact with humans.

Dr. Brian Hare  said that dogs began developing extraordinary social intelligence once their ancestors began hanging around early humans. That allows them to perform such skills as chasing after a ball after a human points at it, something other animals can't do.

What do you think? Does your dog understand you? Do you understand your dog? Please let us know in the comments.
