Are You Helping Hurricane Victims? Tell Us

Groups and individuals all around Huntington are helping others who were hit hard by the hurricane.

Many organizations, businesses and individuals have put together fundraisers or created space for donations to help Hurricane Sandy victims. So many, in fact, it's hard to keep track of them all as drives pop up around town.

If you are involved in collecting items or are running an event to raise funds, we'd like to ask you to list it here so we can keep people up to date. Huntington Patch continues to receive many inquiries from people wondering how they can help. And we'd like to help by spreading the word.

Organizations that have already contributed in some fashion are welcome to tell us in the comments field, add photos of their event to this story or otherwise make sure our town's residents know what is going on.

Thank you.
