Beaches at and the Huntington Beach Community Association in Centerport were opened to bathing today by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services.
Recent samples from those locations show water quality to be within acceptable levels, according to James Tomarken, commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services.
Steers Beach in Northport was closed to bathing today due to unsafe bacterial levels, according to Tomarkin.
