Twelve bus shelters in and around Huntington, NY will become public art spaces!
Poster replications of original artworks will replace advertisements in the bus shelters starting in September and will be up for at least three months.

From August 21st to 28th the twelve posters, will be exhibited at the Huntington Arts Council with the original works of art they are based upon. There will be an opening reception at the gallery on August 24, 2013 from 6pm – 8pm for the twelve participating artists.

*Due to the public nature of this exhibit, artwork must be appropriate for all ages- to this end artwork containing graphic nudity or profanity will not be considered for this show.
SPARKBOOM is the collaboration between the Huntington Arts Council and eleven
other non-profit arts organizations throughout Long Island to provide opportunities for young, emerging artists. Five Towns College is a lead sponsor for SPARKBOOM with additional support for Post No Bills by Sunrise Outdoor Advertising.
