Local Residents Join UJA-Federation to Help the Needy Celebrate Passover

Carin Meyer, of Cold Spring Harbor,  and Jennifer Ingber, of Huntington,  joined with UJA-Federation of New York and more than 200 volunteers to donate and pack hundreds of packages of Kosher for Passover food items that will be donated to those who are less fortunate. The UJA-Federation event—Pass the Blessings, a Family Mitzvah Project— was held on March 23. The food will be distributed through UJA-Federation network agencies including FEGS Health & Human Services, M’Yad L’Yad, and the Rina Shkolnik Kosher Food Pantry. The world's largest local philanthropy, UJA-Federation of New York cares for Jews everywhere and for New Yorkers of all backgrounds, connects people to their Jewish communities, and responds to crises — in New York, in Israel, and around the world.
