Elks Presented with Proclamation
New York State Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci joined the Huntington Elks Lodge to honor local veterans and presented a proclamation from the New York State Assembly to Martin Rosenthal, President of the New York State Elks at the Huntington Elks Lodge 1565 during a recent dinner meeting. November is "Elks National Remembrance Month" which focuses on the Elks commitment to uphold the pledge to "..never forget our veterans" and to show gratitude and appreciation for the men and women who have served and who presently serve our country.
The Elks are a vibrant organization which support the local community where their lodges are located. Part of the Elks Lodge efforts center around veterans, recognizing what they have done for us as a country, supporting them and thanking them throughout the year for their efforts.
