Bellone, D'Amaro Promote Free Smoking Cessation Course

(Hauppauge, NY-July 25, 2014)  Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Legislator Louis D’Amaro encourage residents in the Melville area to take advantage of a free course to help them quit smoking.

“Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death,” said Bellone, who earlier this year signed legislation to raise the age for the sale of tobacco products to 21 beginning in 2015. “Our ‘Learn to Be Tobacco Free' program is one of the most successful programs available to residents who wish to quit smoking.”
