Brittany Maier, an autistic and blind pianist known around the country for her performances, will perform Thursday at Whitman High School.
The program will include Whitman student Amy Profaci, who was an MSG Varsity Star Search finalist.
The concert is scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. at Whitman.
Donations are $5 in advance, $10 at the door.
The program is sponsored by the school's DECA club, which will share the money raised with the Brittany Maier and Friends Foundation.
"It is our duty to demonstrate leadership not only in school but throughout the community as well," said Jackie Calamari, president of the Whitman chapter
She and DECA parliamentarian Jordana Lanz volunteered at Adelphi University’s Disability Support Services office, and said they were surprised by the number of college students who require extra assistance.
