St. Anthony's High School once again celebrated the Christmas season with a magnificent choral and instrumental concert on Dec. 10-11.
Almost 800 student singers and musicians welcomed the Christmas season with musical selections ranging from classical selections (Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf, Mozart's Gloria from the Twelfth Mass) to secular favorites (Snow, Snow Beautiful Snow and Carol of the Bells) to traditional religious Christmas music (Silent Night, The First Noel, O Come O Ye Faithful).
The evening ended with a spectacular presentation of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah that was sung by the Chorus and played by the student musicians. The annual concert was a perfect way to start the Christmas season.
