Although Hurricane Sandy delayed Maplewood's annual Student Council Election, it didn't put a stop to it.
On Jan.11, 17 patient fourth and fifth graders finally had the opportunity to tell the Maplewood student body why they would be the best candidates for office.
Five officers were selected: Kimberly Hoppe, Caitlin McKenna, Danielle Diem, Cassidy Paige and Julianna Villella.
