Free Event for Hurricane-Affected Homeowners to Meet With Lenders, Insurers

Over 15 Mortgage lenders and 8 insurance companies will be coming to Westbury Long Island Saturday December 15 to meet with homeowners impacted by Sandy. This one-time opportunity is ideal for those dealing with things like double endorsed insurance payments; payments sent directly to lenders; or who are having a hard time making mortgage payments due to lost work or Sandy expenses ... some banks can offer reduced or suspended payments for up to a year.

There will be representatives from NYS AG office, NYS Office of Financial Services, FEMA and HUD COUNSELING Organizations as well.

Does the Patch accept articles from district spokespeople? Perhaps that is the answer to this…Read More problem! Short but informative articles can be submitted each week and then Huntington could get the coverage it so desires. Each town's Patch would cover whichever high schools are in it's area. Problem solved!
