Barry E. Jackson, age 61, of The Villages, Fla., and formerly of South Bend, (formerly of South Bend, IN) passed away on Dec. 3, 2012, following a courageous battle with cancer, according to the South Bend Tribune.
Born and raised in New London, Ohio, he is survived by his wife, Nancy (Riffel) Jackson of The Villages, Fla.; his mother, Charlotte Jackson of New London, Ohio; a son, Deron Jackson; daughter, Chelsea Jackson; granddaughter, Chloe; two sisters, Billie Ann Duta of Medina, Ohio, & Barbara Jackson of Mayfield Heights, Ohio; two brothers, Garry Jackson of New London, Ohio; and twin brother, Larry Jackson of Euclid, Ohio. He is also survived by his three stepchildren, Kim (Tom) D'Ambrosio of Huntington Station, Greg (Julie) Kaniewski of South Bend, Indiana, & Debbie Kaniewski of Fishers, Indiana; and five step-grandchildren, Tate Bellegante, Makenna and Braden Kaniewski, and Tommy and Danny Cohoat.
A funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family requests either Mass Intentions or donations made to the American Cancer Society . Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, Ind., is assisting with arrangements.
