USDA-licensed is a puppy mill, not a reputable breeder. Never buy online either. In both cases you are directly supporting animal cruelty, legal or not. I urge everyone thinking about adding a pet to please do some homework. Don't want to adopt, fine. Search out an actual reputable breeder where you MEET the parents. Pictures and phone calls lie. If you don't meet the parents, this is mostly likely where your puppy came from, no matter the seller told you to put your mind at ease. This is an actual USDA-licensed "breeder."
