Hosts 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off Contest\nThe Nicko las Demidovich Memorial Fund Inc. will host its 1st annual Chili Cook-Of f Contest on Saturday\, February 11 from 7 p.m. to midnight at The Hunti ngton Elks Lodge. Proceeds from the contest will benefit Huntington loca l area boy scouts.\n&ldquo\;Fundraisers\, like our 1st annual Chili Cook -Off Contest\, are organized in order to replenish The Nickolas Demidovi ch Memorial Fund so that money is available throughout the year for dese rving scouts\,&rdquo\; said Peter Demidovich\, co-founder of the Fund as well as the Elks Lodge&rsquo\;s Lecturing Knight. &ldquo\;The proceeds from this contest will help send Boy Scouts to Boy Scout camp and allow them to participate in scouting activities that would otherwise be unaff ordable for their families. The cook-off will allow us to create an even ing of food\, fun and fundraising for these worthy children.&rdquo\;\nTh e event will include several local "celebrity judges" including Fingerz\ , the afternoon drive host of WBAB and Jim Savalli from the Village Conn ection. \; Tickets to attend the cook-off are $20 per guest and will include all you can eat chili and fixings\, hot dogs\, salad and more. The contest entry fee is $25. Award categories include: Spicy\, Creative \, Healthiest and Best Overall. There will be two opportunities to win e ach category &ndash\; the guest favorites and the &ldquo\;local celebrit y&rdquo\; judge favorites &ndash\; but prizes will be awarded to all con testants.\nThe event will also include a Live DJ and Dancing as well as a 50/50 Raffle and Raffle Baskets.
