More About Dix Hills Performing Arts Center
The Performing Arts Center is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit entity located at Five Towns College. The foundation's mission is to support charitable, educational, literary, civic and cultural events for the benefit of the community.
DHPAC often presents programs in conjunction with The John Lennon Center for Music & Technology, Middle Class American Productions [MCAP], Five Towns College faculty and student projects, and the Entertainment Industry Gallery of Honor at Five Towns College.
DHPAC presents popular music jazz, rock, John Lennon and Beatles shows, Broadway musical theater, drama, family and children's theater, and new theatrical comedy as well as magic and stand-up comedy. Its performances include college performers, professional musicians and national and international stars.
Because of the organization's association with The John Lennon Center for Music and Technology, it holds an annual multi-media birthday celebration to remember John Lennon, as well as frequent Beatles events with various musicians and Beatles scholars.

Live Music - Jazz, Cabaret and The Great American Songbook, Rock, Tribute bands, 60's music (including a Woodstock tribute), 70's music, 80's music, 90's music, Barbershop, Acapella, Alternative Music, Big Band, Swing Music, Jazz Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Concert Pops, Guitar, Guitar Ensembles, Latin Jazz, Piano, Choir, Gospel Choir, The Fall Guitar Festival and the Guitar Extravaganza.
Live Theatre –Broadway Musicals; Drama; Comedy; Radio Theatre; experimental theatre; student productions (including senior projects in the Spring); and world premiere presentations, such as John Blenn's 2009 production of "Golden Parachutes," Eddie Money's 2009 production of "Two Tickets to Paradise" and Stewart Lane's 2010 production of "A Moment in Time".
Live Comedy – Comedy Skits, Stand-up Comedy, New Comedy Writers Series, and many variations of comic theatre. John Blenn, The Five Towns College Playwright-In-Residence is associated with Middle Class American Productions [MCAP], Long Island's only all-original theatre group.
