Huntington Public Library Station Branch
Description: This course is designed for English language learners with a basic knowledge of English. It will help develop fundamental writing, speaking, reading and listening skills. It is also designed to promote essential language skills so that they may become more functional in their daily living activities, such as giving and receiving directions, writing short sentences, conversations, etc. By the end of the course participants will be more spontaneous, independent and confident.

More About Huntington Public Library Station Branch
Opening for the first time on December 8, 1929, the Station Branch of the Huntington Public Library began with an initial collection of 700 volumes, including donations from the Old Memorial Library building (the Village library) and community members. Today, the library offers a variety of resources and educational programs that include Beginner English classes; fitness and yoga classes; computer and cooking classes. The library also hosts a popular Anime Club for teens. It also offers homework help for students throughout the week, public computers and special collections of books, including foreign language books in French, Hindi, Korean and Spanish, and bilingual books for children.
