Several stores have closed or announced plans to do so in Huntington Station recently, but there are at least two new places.

Faust Harrison Pianos began 20 years ago and its newest is at 277 Walt Whitman Road. The company has multiple stores in New York City, Westchester and now Long Island.

The store sells restored vintage Steinways as well as new pianos.

Sales manager Sam Varon says Huntington was an ideal location because they can attract clients from Suffolk and Nassau Counties.

Also new on the scene is Berry Healthy Cafe, just a few doors from the now-closed Barnes & Noble bookstore.

The cafe, owned by Joan and Paul Schreier, offers wraps, paninis, frozen yogurt and other options.

Both stores opened in November.

How about a ALDI'S? There is one in Bay Shore and we love it but too far to travel weekly...
