Happy Friday! Irene definitely foiled plans last weekend, but there is still one more official weekend of summer left, so head out and enjoy some local live entertainment right here in Huntington. Greenlawn Fireman's Fair: A Labor Day tradition since 1906, this fair includes food, games, rides, entertainment and raffles including a grand prize 2011 Jeep Liberty. Open 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Northport Arts Coalition: Closing night of “Happenings on Main Street” series with Glenn Baldwin and Friends of Jazz at 7 p.m.

Huntington Elks Lodge: “Music Corner” featuring dinner, dancing and jazz music from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Grasso’s: Ron Affif Trio, guitar music at 7:30 p.m.

St. Paul’s Methodist Church: Opera night concert in Northport at 7:30 p.m.

Rosewood Inn: Karaoke Fridays with Dix Hills resident DJ Patty, from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Black & Blue: live music TBA at 10 p.m.

Tutto Pazzo: Disco music and dancing 10 p.m.

Finley’s: DJ starting at 11:30 p.m.

September 3

Huntington Lighthouse Music Fest: Celebrating its 5th year, the Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society presents the only music festival for boating enthusiasts held on top of a working lighthouse in the middle of the water. Lineup includes “piano man” Harry Haid, Blacklight, the New York Exceptions, and the Pamela Betti Band. Runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Prime: Margaritaville Saturdays featuring Young Rebel Goombas, sounds of Key West, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

John W. Engeman Theater at Northport: “Broadway Journey” with Chuck Cooper, Janet Dacal, Sarah Litzsinger, Matthew Scott and Kissy Simmons at 8 p.m.

Tutto Pazzo: Disco music and dancing at 10 p.m.

Black & Blue: live music TBA at 10 p.m.

Cinema Arts Centre: Rescheduled from last weekend, Brett Sherris’ Summer Camp series concludes with the “7th Annual Pay to Get Out Horror Marathon” beginning at 11 p.m.

September 4

Grasso’s: Joe Carter & Wayne Sabella, guitar & piano at 12 p.m.

Prime: Jazz Brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Calypso Sundays Therapy Band, live reggae on the harbor, 4 p.m. to Sunset.

Labor Day

Prime: Monday Night Movie Night presents “Pulp Fiction.” Join us at our outdoor theater behind the Cabana Bar. Popcorn, cocktails, BBQ, blankets and your favorite classic hit movies, begins at 8:30 p.m.
