Leadership Huntington Graduates 13

Annual gala honors recent grads, members for service.

The Leadership Huntington Foundation graduated its class of 2013 at a Harbor Club ceremony last week.

Emceed by Michael Davies, vice president of the board of directors of Leadership Huntington, remarks at the April 12 gala were given by state Sen. Carl Marcellino, Huntington Town Council members Mark Cuthbertson and Susan Berland and Scott Martella, Suffolk County representative for Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Making it through a nine-month series of workshops for current and emerging leaders recruited by foundation, 13 made it through the Flagship Program which is specifically tailored to address pressing issues of the community and enhancing key leadership skills, according to the organization.
