In the week leading up to the big game in Indiannapolis, the Birchwood Intermediate School sponsored its own ‘Souper’ Bowl by collecting soup cans to be donated to the Huntington Community Food Council.
School officials said they were proud of students and the community for their support of the successful event.
“They are always coming together to help the less fortunate in our community,” said Birchwood Assistant Principal Steven Toto, in a district press release.
